Christian Swezey does a quick recap:
Charlie McCormick (M) â€" Excellent L shot on the run; he gets very quick speed and a smoothness from his long strides; on the run, great at getting his hands back and really getting a lot of torque from his hips; shots on run have good range â€" high to high, high to low.

Everyone must remember that this award can be charitable at times, like this year, as was Kyle Harrison s trophy. He was given it because he took a back seat in his senior year and let other people domintate, check the numbers. I find it ridiculous that max got it but they lost the big trophy in a bad way and the committee was not about to give the cuse another award. The same happens with AA nominations. admin does not seem to agree with this. In his own words:
Red/Green Division Jim Carboneau (Holliston, Mass.) Skip Cooper (Thompsons Station, Tenn.) Matt Croteau (Sagamore Beach, Mass.) Kevin Curley (East Rochester, N.Y.) Eric Farno (Coventry, Conn.) Mike Hyland (Huntington, Md.)

Still not being convinced, Brian Harrison replies:
The Orange again did it with contributions from several players. Syracuse had eight different scorers in the game. Stephen Keogh and Cody Jamieson led in scoring with two goals a piece, including the game winner from Jamieson in the overtime. Matt Abbot and Dan Hardy each added two assists as well. Hardy and Jamieson each finished with three points a piece. Long stick midfielder Joel White led the team with ground balls and played fantastic on the defensive end and on face offs. Jake Moulton again played well, winning ten of 17 face offs. Gavin Jenkinson also won two of four. Finally, John Galloway played well on the day in the second half and finished with ten saves and nine goals against.

Geoff Shannon brings a word of caution:
9) Joe Morasco, A, Syracuse (Somers, NY) Game: Was the lead man on the highlight of the night, throwing a behind-the-back pass to White who then scored on a BTB shot. Showed an uncanny speed and natural ability around the cage.

I would also like to thank Tom Hayes and Joe Gold at the Federation of International Lacrosse for donating sticks for the clinics. A video blog of this trip will be posted later this summer.

Christian Swezey thinks about it:
By smeister on Jun 6, 2009 | Reply The best game I ve ever seen a Brown team play was their April 25 senior day win 11-9 over Cornell. Reade Seligman was a one man clearing machine and at one point he ran over Tewaaraton trophy winner Max Seibald. Congratulations Lars on a great season!

Having that in mind, NunesMagician wonders:
Don't get too excited just yet, clearly there's still issues.  "If things don't work out?"  Why wouldn't they work out?   Hmmm... How bout Jeremy?

Instead of trying to curb binge drinking raise the amount of police presence to where it becomes gaudy. This will keep the vast majority of people in line, and those who step out of the line with cops all around them were going to do so with or without a ban on shots at the Landing.

Tina Bowman comes with the facts:
We had lunch and watched the second game and Cornell used a patented slow down game against Virginia and handled the CAV s easily by winning faceoff s, precise shooting and just holding the ball. I knew that if we let the Big Red dictate tempo we could be in for a dog fight. But for now it was time to celebrate the win. Off to the tailgate for an adult beverage or two. I have always said in our broadcasts that the greatest tailgaters in this sport are our own Orange fans and families. They proved me right again, there were thousands of fans all grouped together in lot 4 at Gillette and the party went on. It turns out that the families and fans and friends of the program all communicated with each other and met in the Bass Pro Shopping Center, which is connect to Gillette Stadium, at 7:00am and caravanned over to lot 4. Amazing! Of course at this time it was time for DINNER!

Christian Swezey points out another thing aside from that:
2:40pm â€" This game is over, as is this session. There are tons of college coaches here right now, all sort of crowding together in their excursions from field to field. I’m going to sit in some air conditioning right now because I feel a slight bout of heat stroke coming on and I’ll be back after dinner for the night session, followed by the All-Star Game.
